Opportunities For Experienced Radio Broadcasters
We are always interested in connecting with talented, experienced broadcasters.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have a minimum of five years of commercial AM or FM radio experience, preferably including writing and delivering local radio news. Broadcasters from markets of all sizes are encouraged to apply, particularly those who may have recently been affected by corporate downsizing in the industry.
Our focus is professional, balanced local news coverage. We do not discriminate based on sex, nationality, religion, political views, or any other personal characteristic. However, when representing our company, broadcasters must maintain professionalism and neutrality while delivering news content.
Applicants must have a suitable home studio or reliable access to a professional broadcast studio capable of meeting production schedules. A working knowledge of digital audio production and editing is required, along with the hardware and software needed to produce broadcast-quality audio. Training will be provided to help you work with our proprietary systems and workflow.
Those working with us must be dependable, meet deadlines, follow detailed instructions, and remain responsive to the needs of the stations we serve. A confidentiality agreement is also required to protect the identity of our current and future clients.
This is not a traditional employment position. Work is offered strictly on an independent contractor basis, with hours and compensation varying based on experience and availability.
